1966 – 1992
INDUMASCH was founded in 1966 by three partners. Mr Bruno Mudersbach, Mr Eberhard Sting and Mr Hubert Schneider initially concentrated on trading in metal-cutting (turning, milling, drilling) and non-cutting (notching, punching, bending, cutting) metalworking machines.
1992 – 2015
When the 2nd generation joined the company in 1992, Peter Sting began to specialise in the field of bending technology. From then on, sales were supported by an in-house design and service department for complex bending tasks. In the field of horizontal bending technology, INDUMASCH now manufactured its own machines, and for 3-roll bending technology, INDUMASCH relied on the exclusive sales partnership with the Swiss-based PBT Profilbiegetechnik AG from Weinfelden on the German market. PBT AG is a manufacturer of three-roll profile bending machines and world market leader. The Swiss are absolute experts in their field and one of the reasons why INDUMASCH meets the highest possible standards in bending technology.
2015 – heute
As part of a succession plan, the sole shareholder and managing director of INDUMASCH GmbH - Peter Sting - has sold his shares in the company to PBT AG Profilbiegetechnik with retroactive effect from 1 October 2015. However, Peter Sting will remain with the German subsidiary as an employed managing director. In order to finalise the integration of INDUMASCH GmbH into PBT AG, it has now been operating under the name PBT Germany GmbH since July 2020. INDUMASCH products (universal bending machines and notching machines) will continue to be sold and distributed by PBT Germany GmbH under the INDUMASCH brand.
